Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn with Cullen McRae of the Florida Marlins at the 2007 Winter Meetings. Tony was presented the Pioneer Award for revolutionalizing the use of video in baseball.
Nick English has been named Video Coordinator for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He replaces Casey Deskins who recently became the pitching coach for the Golf Coast League Dodgers. Nick was an intern with the Dodgers Baseball Operations department for the past two seasons and has a law degree from USC.
Mike Hamilton, off his recent winning of the Carl Hamilton Award of Excellence was named Professional Scout for the Rockies. He will be working out of the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area. His responsibilities will include the Texas League, A.L. West, and National League teams.
